Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before placing an order with Cargo Boss Logistics ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Services

Cargo Boss Logistics provides on-demand courier and delivery services within our designated service area. Our services include standard delivery, scheduled delivery, express delivery, rush delivery, multi-stop routes, contractor/job-site delivery, and heavy item/labor assist delivery.

We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion. Service availability may vary based on location, driver availability, time of day, and operational capacity.

2. Order Placement and Confirmation

Orders are placed through our website or by direct arrangement with our dispatch team. Submission of an order form constitutes an offer to purchase services. Your order is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation notification from us, including an assigned Order ID.

The price quoted at time of order is an estimate based on the information provided. Final pricing is confirmed by our dispatcher prior to dispatch and may differ if actual route distance, stops, or service requirements change. You will be notified of any difference before a driver is dispatched.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, contact numbers, and any special instructions at the time of order.
  • You or your designated representative must be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
  • All items must be properly packaged, secured, and ready for transport when the driver arrives.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that items are lawful to transport and do not require special permits or handling beyond standard courier service.
  • You agree to inform us in advance of any unusually heavy, fragile, or oversized items so appropriate equipment and pricing can be arranged.

4. Prohibited Items

We do not transport the following items under any circumstances:

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind
  • Controlled substances, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia
  • Hazardous materials including flammable liquids, explosives, or toxic chemicals
  • Live animals
  • Human remains or biological materials
  • Perishable food items requiring temperature-controlled transport (unless expressly agreed upon in writing)
  • High-value items such as cash, jewelry, or negotiable instruments exceeding $500 in value (unless prior written agreement is obtained)
  • Any items that are illegal to possess or transport under federal, state, or local law

Attempting to transport prohibited items may result in immediate cancellation of your order without refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the time services are rendered or as agreed upon in advance. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated on the order form. All quoted prices are in U.S. dollars.

In the event of a disputed charge, you must contact us within 7 days of the transaction date. After 7 days, all charges are considered final.

6. Liability and Limitations

Cargo Boss Logistics will handle your items with reasonable care. However, our liability for loss or damage to any item is limited to the lesser of:

  • The actual cash value of the item at the time of loss or damage, or
  • $100 per delivery, unless additional declared value coverage has been arranged and agreed upon in writing prior to dispatch

We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other conditions outside our control
  • Damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the customer
  • Loss or damage to prohibited items
  • Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages of any kind
  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer

7. Delivery and Time Commitments

All delivery time estimates are provided in good faith based on expected traffic and route conditions. They are not guaranteed. Cargo Boss Logistics is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to traffic accidents, road construction, severe weather, or mechanical issues.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rights are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

9. User Accounts

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Cargo Boss Logistics and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
