This policy explains how Cargo Boss Logistics calculates delivery rates, what is included in each service tier, and how wait time charges are assessed. All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars.
The price shown on the order form is an estimate based on driving distance and your selected options. Final pricing is confirmed by our dispatcher before your driver is dispatched. Any price difference will be communicated to you before fulfillment.
Your base delivery cost is calculated as follows:
Formula: (Base Rate + Mileage Cost + Stop Fees + Service Surcharge) × Timing Multiplier + Timing Surcharge + Add-On Fees
Current rates by vehicle type. These rates may be updated periodically — always use the order form for the most current quote.

Labor Assist pricing is based on the number of laborers selected and the estimated hours. Final labor hours are confirmed after delivery and may be adjusted if actual time exceeds the estimate. You will be notified before any excess time is billed.

Timing multipliers are applied to the combined base delivery cost (mileage + stops + service surcharge) before add-ons are calculated.

Current add-on prices are always displayed on the order form. Add-ons are applied after the timing multiplier.
Drivers allow a 15-minute free wait window at each stop. Wait time charges begin after the free window has elapsed.
The following wait time rules apply:
To add pre-reserved wait time to your order, select the "Wait Time" add-on in the order form. This ensures a driver is prepared to wait and the fee is included in your quoted price.
The 15-minute free window applies at each stop on multi-stop routes. Wait time charges may apply independently at each location where a driver is held beyond the free window.
Mileage is calculated based on the actual driving distance between the pickup and delivery address using our routing system. This distance may differ from straight-line ("as the crow flies") distance. If traffic conditions require an alternate route, actual mileage driven will be used for billing.
In cases where our routing system cannot calculate a precise distance (e.g., rural routes, unmapped roads), our dispatcher will provide a manual quote prior to dispatch.
A fuel surcharge may be applied to orders during periods of elevated fuel costs. Any applicable fuel surcharge will be displayed on the order quote and communicated prior to dispatch. Fuel surcharges are not retroactively applied to confirmed orders.
Cargo Boss Logistics reserves the right to adjust rates at any time. Rate changes take effect immediately for new orders. Rates quoted at the time of order confirmation are honored for that order regardless of subsequent rate changes.
